Drake announces new music in honor of Raptors' NBA win
If you're someone who hates Drake, this will be a long summer of radio play. Fans, however, have double the reason to celebrate.
On Thursday night, the Toronto Raptors finally beat the Golden State Warriors becoming the NBA champions for the first time — of course, Drake the superfan, Raptors ambassador and Toronto native was more ecstatic than ever. After bear-hugging everyone around him and chugging some champagne straight from the bottle, the rapper took to Instagram to announce that he will be dropping two new songs on Friday in honor of his home team's big win.
The songs "Omerta" and "Money In the Grave" featuring Rick Ross will be available on all platforms later on Friday, though it's unclear whether Bay Area radio station KBLX will end their boycott of Drake's music to play the new releases.

In a post-game interview, an in-his-feelings Drake told reporters: "We did this off of heart. We did this off of love. We willed this into existence and we manifested it" — despite the rapper's polemical courtside antics throughout the playoffs.
