On Monday, Elon Musk's Tesla and SpaceX joined a legal brief filed by Apple, Google, and nearly 100 other tech companies in opposition to President Trump's executive order that restricts immigration from seven Muslim-majority countries.

The brief was filed over the weekend, arguing that the order "inflicts significant harm on American business, innovation, and growth." Musk is a member of Trump's business advisory council, and he has said he thinks it's best to discuss matters directly with Trump, Reuters reports.
