A new poll from ABC News and The Washington Post shows the five top Democratic candidates for president leading President Trump in a hypothetical match-up by between six and 16 points. Among all adults, Vice President Joe Biden leads Trump by 16 points, while Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) has a 12-point lead, Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.) has an 11-point lead, Sen. Kamala Harris (D-Calif.) has a 10-point lead, and South Bend, Indiana, Mayor Pete Buttigieg has a six-point lead. Each candidate's lead over Trump has grown since a poll conducted in July, with Sanders netting the largest gain: six points. The five candidates also lead Trump among registered voters, but by slightly smaller margins. The poll's margin of error is 3.5 percentage points.
